Emotional Wellness

Emotional wellness is being in touch with yourself enough to know how you feel and understand your emotions. Being able to understand and manage your emotions and how you feel is very important not just for your overall health, but for those around you. Keeping a positive attitude, strong self esteem, and a positive self image is part of having emotional wellness in your life.
How to incorporate emotional wellness:
-Spend time with people who are close to you: family and close friend who you can share deeper parts of your personal life and be affirmative and supportive with one another.
-Try to keep a positive outlook and keep a list of good things in your life to refer to when you feel down.
- Read material that is uplifting and encouraging growth in your life.
-Learn balance techniques that keep your life in order and better able to manage daily tasks.
-Incorporate activities that you enjoy doing by yourself, or with others.
-Take walks to clear your mind and help you regain perspective.
