Incorporating wellness into your life

Wellness is a term many people are just starting to wrap their minds around, and still many do not understand what wellness really is all about and what it means for them. Charles B. Corbin of Arizona State University gives this definition of wellness: “Wellness is a multidimensional state of being describing the existence of positive health in an individual as exemplified by quality of life and a sense of well-being.”

Wellness encompasses every facet of your life; physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, and financial. It is important that as each and every person lives to their fullest potential and while finding their purpose in life they become healthier and stronger along the way.
Wellness is a process that calls you to having an awareness of the changes and progress that need to be made in your journey of life.

What does it mean to incorporate wellness into your life in these areas physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially? As the week goes on I will go into each one and discuss how you can begin to do that in your life.
