Lying...the dirty little secret that always exposes itself later on.

I have been lied to! Surprised? You shouldn't be...!You have been lied to as well. In fact, lying is becoming a fast and growing epidemic among all sorts of people. Sad but true. No one wants to confront a liar yet everyone at some point in their life has been told one, two, or many of them.  I find this incredibly interesting and totally irritating all at the same time. When you are in a relationship with a client, family member, employee, employer, friend, etc...you sort of expect truth to be a given criteria for establishing an underlying trust factor between the two of you. After all, you are investing your time in them, their lives, and their wellbeing. But we live in a sick and fallen world full of broken people. That is the reality. The astonishing thing is that when people "white" lie and think it is funny or a way of getting them what they really want it is still a "LIE."  A dirty little secret that only exposes itself later on, makes a fool of you, and shows what your really made of deep down inside.

What makes people lie?
Insecurity
Escape from punishment or consequences
Fear
Doubt
Excuses to get out of something they committed to

Let us look at the definition of a lie.

noun
1.
a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.
2.
something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture:
3.
an inaccurate or false statement.
4.
the charge or accusation of lying:
–verb (used without object)
5.
to speak falsely or utter untruth knowingly, as with intent to deceive.
6.
to express what is false; convey a false impression.
–verb (used with object)
7.
to bring about or affect by lying (often used reflexively): to lie oneself out of a difficulty; accustomed to lying his way out of difficulties.

Truth is what sets men free.
If men and women want to be free and have a fulfilling life and obtain health and optimal wellness they need to come to terms with this aspect of their lives. Lying is not acceptable under any circumstances, call it white....call it black...call it whatever kind of lie you want to, but it is still a lie.
Lying only hurts your credibility, ruins your relationships, and gives you a false sense of reality!
