Pursue your wellness with passion!

It is so sad to me that in most cases, people do not care about their health until they are sick, dying, or already in pain. Seriously, I really do not understand this. Every human being was created with aspects of themselves that must be nurtured and fostered into the best possible version of itself. One person may strive for optimal physical wellness, and want to achieve the best possible physical appearance, yet they forget their emotional and spiritual side in their quest and forget there is a great need for them to be healthy in the deeper places of their heart and mind. Then there are those who seek spiritual growth and put such a huge amount of time into spending countless hours studying and ministering to others, while they are extremely overweight and fall asleep reading their devotions over an enormous can of soda and bowl of ice-cream, this one forgets that his/her physical and mental health is connected to their spiritual wellness and their effectiveness to be there for other people.
Men and women were created with all of these aspects to pursue wellness and vitality in, yet, there is a severe lack of balance in many of us. When there is more of a push for one over the other it sends people completely off track in how they were meant to live...and love. Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health are all 100% connected to one another. Not one person will ever achieve perfection this side of heaven. There is though this amazing thing called, "YOUR LIFE," that you are responsible for and you will give an account for in the end one way or the other. Why wouldn't you want to live your life the best you possibly can, not just for yourself, but for the people around you. Your family needs you to be healthy, your future spouse needs you to take care of yourself, your co-workers and clients need to see you being effective in your workplace, your church needs to see you flourishing instead of existing....and your creator wants to see His masterpiece (which is you) being used the way He intended you to be used in this earthly life....that is to love...and LIVE well!
